The Client Relations team is at the forefront of this. We work with a diverse range of leading asset managers, asset owners, banks and insurance companies in developing and implementing tailored responsible finance strategies. The team operates in a lively, collaborative and supportive environment, where each day is different.
The Role
This is an exciting role with a broad remit, where you will be expected to work together with other advisors to manage a portfolio of regional clients and contribute to cross-team priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Apply a customer improvement approach including:
- support with developing and executing on account management plans, understanding current and future client needs;
- identifying and developing upsell opportunities in collaboration with the Sales team;
- identifying and mitigating risk signals; and
- meeting regularly with clients (online and in person) to discuss operational and strategic priorities and seek feedback.
- Act as trusted supporting advisor, helping clients' ESG strategy development by providing advice and guidance on market best practices and developing a deep understanding of different approaches to integrating ESG data and research.
- Ensure that the client receives excellent client service including overseeing and executing on timely responses to client queries, effective research and data delivery, issue resolution, change management, and the maintenance of accurate data records to support efficient processes.
- Develop subject matter expertise on Morningstar Sustainalytics' products and use cases to support our clients with training, onboarding and the application of our research and data
We are looking for a junior client relationship professional with enthusiasm and ambition to contribute to a more just and sustainable economy.
Qualifications:
- Up to 2 years' experience in a client servicing or account management role, ideally in financial services.
- Experience in working with asset managers, wealth managers, asset owners or investment banks.
- Demonstrated knowledge of financial services and ESG.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and presentation skills.
- Analytical skills, strong attention to detail and drive to improve.
- Alignment with Morningstar Sustainalytics' mission, vision, and values.
- Bachelor degree in related discipline.
- Desired, not required, Master degree in related discipline or qualification such as CFA.
