What you will do:

• Responsible for consolidation of capital financial data including monthly and quarterly reporting and financial information relating to Budgets, Forecasts, and Actuals.

• Support the consolidation of the annual budget process including the analysis of variances and preparation of supporting schedules for various Finance teams.

• Provide financial support & analysis on a timely basis to various collaborators, to support their business and strategic decisions.

• Build relationships with Asset Management, particularly with individuals responsible for compilation and assessment of financial data, including forecasts, with a view to understanding and validating the processes used by them in generating their outputs.

• Responsible for assisting with inputs to support periodic forecasts, the annual budget cycle and long-range plans.

• Support key SOX controls and Audit requirements.
   

Who you are:

• You have a University Business degree.

• Finance/Accounting related designation is preferred but not required.

• 4 or more years of post-qualification experience with financial reporting and performance analytics related roles.

Physical Requirements (Include but are not limited to):

Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
