The Advisor - BI Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Tableau/Power BI.
Job Responsibilities:
Design and Develop Dashboards: Create visually appealing and interactive dashboards that help users quickly grasp critical insights from data.
Data Integration: Connect Tableau to various data sources (Google Big Query/Azure Synapse, etc.), ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Performance Optimization: Improve load times and responsiveness of Tableau dashboards and reports.
Data Analysis: Analyse and interpret data to create meaningful visualizations.
Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into functional specifications.
Skills:
Proficiency in Tableau: Strong understanding of Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server and respective functionalities. Minimum 8 plus years of experience in Tableau.
JavaScript: Must have experience in customising (handling of events, filters, etc.) the Tableau dashboards using Tableau Embedding API in JavaScript.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of SQL and should have experience connecting to a Data warehouse.
Cloud: Experience working in a cloud-based environment.
Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and present data insights.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
