We are looking for a dedicated Adviser Assistant to support our Financial Advisers with risk and insurance advice for their clients. This role is open to candidates anywhere
in Australia, with hybrid working and every second Friday off through our flexi Friday arrangement.
Your role, your contribution
Support our Financial Advisers by assisting with strategic risk advice for their clients
Use IRESS and XPlan to prepare insurance needs analysis, research and comparisons, and both cost comparison and recommended insurance quotes
Conduct health, financial and occupational pre-assessments with insurers to determine the best outcome for clients
Be a key point of contact for Advisers on personal insurance matters and educate Advisers on risk and insurance related matters
Ensure risk strategies adhere to the Findex insurance guidelines and advice process manual, completing risk strategy notes to support advice
Maintain up-to-date technical and product knowledge to stay abreast of legislative changes and industry developments, and to meet compliance requirements

What you bring to the role
Proven experience in a similar role, with in-depth knowledge of the Australian risk market
Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Advanced knowledge of XPlan
Advanced knowledge of the risk insurance and financial planning process
Strong written and verbal communication, with excellent attention to detail
A collaborative team player with a positive, proactive and results-oriented approach
Able to manage a large WIP and competing priorities, maintain confidentiality, and achieve outcomes with minimal supervision
