Provides evening telephone triage for parents seeking pediatric guidance outside physician office hours. Assesses symptoms using established protocols, advises families regarding injuries and illnesses, documents care, provides education, coordinates with healthcare teams, and delivers safe, culturally sensitive, patient-centered nursing support. The role also includes ongoing competency development, clinical quality improvement, safety monitoring, and oversight of unlicensed personnel. Work is on-site in Atlanta, with part-time and full-time evening schedules.

Job Description

This position is Not Remote.
It will be based at the Support Center in Atlanta GA. Hours are 5PM-11PM for Part-time (24 hrs/wk) and 5PM-1AM for Fulltime (32 hrs./wk).
This role involves working on a telephone triage service responding to calls from parents when local pediatricians' offices are closed and using symptom-based protocols to assess and advise regarding injuries and illnesses.
Our ideal candidate comes with at least 5 years of pediatric nursing experience, preferably in emergency, urgent care, or pediatric primary care environments, and is available to work on-site during evenings and weekends.

Experience
•1 year of RN experience; pediatrics highly preferred
Preferred Qualifications
•Bachelor of Science in Nursing

-Previous Pediatric experience in Emergency, Urgent Care and/or Primary care
 

Education
•Graduation from accredited school of nursing
