Work Location:

  • We value in person work and would prefer this role to be hybrid (in office 2-3 days/wk) and based in Madison, Wisconsin.
  • We are also open to remote candidates who can work effectively with our teams and visit the Madison office regularly.

We’ll expect you to do things like these:

  • Analyze daily revenue performance at both macro and micro levels, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Oversee and optimize paid media spend across multiple channels, ensuring individual campaign delivery is on track.
  • Assist in developing and deploying a strategy for rich media ads, a new product offering, ensuring seamless integration and launch.
  • Monitor and measure the performance of rich media ads post-launch, providing insights and recommendations for future iterations.
  • Ensure all advertising efforts are aligned with overall business objectives and client needs.
  • Work closely with performance managers to deliver the highest quality traffic to clients.
  • Partner with the product team to test new features, providing feedback to ensure they align with advertising goals and operational needs.
  • Serve as a key stakeholder during product development, contributing insights from an advertising operations perspective to improve product functionality.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in advertising operations or media management.

What we think will improve your chances of success:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, provide actionable insights, and have pivot tables as your best friend.
  • Proficiency in paid media platforms (Outbrain, LinkedIn Advertising, Facebook Ads, etc.) and analytics tools.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Ad Manager for managing and optimizing ad spend.
  • Experience with programmatic advertising.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to independently manage projects and consistently deliver high-quality results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset.

Other Expectations

Some night and weekend work is required. You will also be expected to travel 2 times per year. Once to Madison, WI for our summer retreat and another time for our winter retreat.

Compensation

The compensation range for this position is $75,000 to 85,000 annual, plus eligible benefits. Compensation may be adjusted based on tenure and experience.

Company Bonus Program
An additional 10% of base earnings paid out quarterly when the company meets its revenue target. 

Equity Options

In addition to your cash compensation, you will receive options to buy stock in Recover.com at a set strike price. These options will vest on a four-year schedule and present an exciting opportunity to benefit from the upside of our company's growth.

Dane County Housing Stipend

We strongly value in-person work and collaboration, so for full-time employees residing in Dane County, we offer a housing stipend of $689/month in addition to your salary ($8,268/yr; half of the Fair Market Value of a 2BR apartment in Madison according to rentdata.org).
