Monitoring New Zealand television channels for advertisements, coding all required advertisements into the Nielsen database using bespoke Nielsen applications.
Working Hours: This is a full time night shift position working five shifts a week across a seven day rotating roster. Shift times are are Monday-Sunday 3am-1pm IST/ 12am to 9am IST
Responsibilities
- Processing television broadcast in a timely and accurate manner.
- Loading and processing supplied raw station logs and matching log data to available broadcast vision
- Analysing advertisements and extracting complex metadata such as brand, product and creative keywords and entering this information into the Nielsen database.
- Maintain data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.
- Processing and delivering all required data to daily, early morning strict deadlines.
- Maintain the integrity of the operations department by following company policies and procedures; notifying the manager of any issues that may harm the collection of accurate data.
- Assisting in other areas of the operations department as required
- Fulfilling any other tasks as requested by the manager
Competencies
- A high level of written communication skills
- A thorough understanding of data entry and coding
- Ability to work to schedules and tight deadlines.
- Commitment to excellence and attention to detail
- Ability to work without direct supervision and as part of a team
- Media background, either professionally or academically, is desirable
- Knowledge of Google suite of applications is desirable
