About this role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented team member to support the execution of ingredient application projects. In this role, you will work hands-on in the laboratory, assisting with experimentation and data analysis to evaluate ingredient performance and help refine formulations.

Working under the guidance of senior colleagues, you will contribute to developing customer-relevant solutions while gaining practical experience in applications research and development within the food and beverage industry.

Accountabilities

  • Assist in conducting analyses of ingredient functionality, performance, and compatibility in various applications
  • Support testing and refinement of formulas and processes to meet specific project requirements
  • Accurately record experimental data and contribute to data analysis and reporting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Innovation & R&D and Technical Service
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure all experiments are conducted according to established protocols
  • Participate in knowledge-sharing activities to support continuous learning and innovation
  • Document findings clearly and maintain detailed and accurate records of results
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards in laboratory work

Skills and Experience:

  • Education and experience: laboratory technician, food processing technologist, or similar educational background with experience from food, pharma, chemical or related industries
  • Working knowledge of processes and practices within applications R&D in the food and beverage industry
  • Good understanding of team processes and procedures
  • Intermediate awareness of related team activities and operations
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to exchange technical or factual information with colleagues
  • Ability to perform essential support, technical, and operational tasks in day-to-day activities
  • Comfortable working under supervision, with the ability to work independently on routine tasks and seek guidance when needed
