Job Summary
The Network and VoIP Solution Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's network and VoIP infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of networking technologies, VoIP protocols, and industry best practices to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure communication systems.
Duties and Responsibilities
Network Design and Architecture:
- Analyze the organization's business requirements and develop a comprehensive network architecture to support current and future needs.
- Design and implement secure, redundant, and high-performance network solutions, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
- Evaluate and select appropriate network hardware, software, and protocols to meet the organization's needs.
- Ensure the network architecture aligns with industry standards and best practices.
VoIP and Unified Communications:
- Design and implement a robust VoIP and unified communications infrastructure, including IP telephony, video conferencing, and collaboration tools.
- Evaluate and select appropriate VoIP hardware, software, and protocols to meet the organization's communication requirements.
- Ensure seamless integration between the VoIP system and other business applications.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for the VoIP system.
Project Management and Implementation:
- Manage the implementation of network and VoIP projects, including planning, resource allocation, and coordination with cross-functional teams.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
- Collaborate with vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful deployment and integration of network and VoIP solutions.

- Certified Cisco Internetwork Expert (CCIE) or equivalent certification in networking.
- Extensive knowledge of network technologies, protocols, and best practices, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, and wireless networking.
- Proficient in VoIP technologies, including SIP, VoIP protocols, and unified communications solutions.
- Strong project management skills and experience in leading complex network and VoIP implementation projects.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
