In this role, you will partner with our sales teams, dealer network, customers, data teams and IT to identify opportunities, present solutions, and move opportunities from initial engagement through successful program launch. You will combine business development, relationship management, and analytical skills to understand customer needs and connect them with Advanced Services solutions to drive meaningful business value. This role goes beyond supporting the sales process—you will take ownership of business development activities and sales results for focused products. You will develop customer relationships, build proposals, support negotiations, establish growth projections, and monitor performance while collaborating across the organization to bring solutions to market. The position operates with a high degree of independence and provides opportunities to lead projects and partner across multiple functions.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Partner with sales teams and our dealer network to generate interest and increase customer engagement with Fleet Services solutions.
  • Drive business development activities and sales results for assigned products and services.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with prospective and existing customers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, dealers, sales teams, and cross-functional partners.
  • Lead business development activities required to support successful customer program launches.
  • Research and evaluate potential markets and support the development of new target-market initiatives.
  • Develop quotes and proposals for prospective customers.
  • Build sales forecasts, establish growth projections, and monitor key performance indicators for Advanced Services products.
  • Partner with customers to negotiate product offerings and facilitate contract negotiations.
  • Provide product training and guidance to dealers and customers.
  • Coordinate customer engagement activities throughout the sales and on-boarding process to maintain momentum and support a positive customer experience.
  • Ownership of all on-boarding projects to ensure smooth transition from the sales process, through on-boarding and into operations.
  • Leverage data, reporting tools, and business insights to identify opportunities and support informed decision-making.
  • Lead projects and collaborate across departments to continuously strengthen Fleet Services processes, customer engagement, and business results.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3-5+ years of professional experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, SAP, BI, or other reporting and business systems.
  • Experience developing sales forecasts, growth projections, or monitoring product KPIs.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to research and work with data.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and build productive working relationships.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a strong orientation toward results.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and take ownership of business results.

What Sets You Apart:

  • Demonstrated capability in business development, sales, customer engagement, project management, or a related business function.
  • Experience working directly with customers in a consultative, solutions-oriented, or business development capacity.
  • Experience partnering with a dealer or distributor network.
  • Experience developing proposals, supporting negotiations, or moving opportunities through a sales pipeline.
  • Ability to translate customer needs and business challenges into solution opportunities.
  • Strong presentation skills and comfort presenting solutions to customers and business stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with material handling, fleet management, connected technologies, or service-based solutions.
  • A proactive mindset and ability to identify opportunities, build alignment, and drive initiatives forward.

Where and When You’ll Work:

  • Enjoy the best of both worlds with a hybrid schedule—collaborate in person at our Greene, NY or Columbus, IN offices Monday through Wednesday and work remotely Thursday/Friday.
  • Workday hours are typically 8am – 5pm with a 1 hour lunch.
  • Office hours may change any given time due to customer engagements.
  • This position has the potential for at least 30% travel.
