What Will You Do? 

The Advanced Quality Engineering Intern will partner with the Advanced Quality Engineering Team located at our worldwide headquarters. This position will support product development teams, suppliers, & manufacturing plants on new and existing products.  Primary job duties will include assisting in the development & deployment of new product advanced quality plans, processes and systems for the Toro Company. 

  • Assist in streamlining Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) processes, including PPAP management, APQP dashboard development, corrective and preventive action (CAPA) tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives. 

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality & Manufacturing teams to develop product design & manufacturing quality requirements. 

  • Engage in the New Product Development (NPD) process. 

  • Help collect, analyze, and report quality data to support decision-making and continuous improvements efforts. 

  • Assess product conformance by performing product validation audits. 

  • Pursue corrective actions with appropriate parties on non-conformances. 

What Do You Need? 

To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements: 

  • Actively enrolled in an accredited 4-year engineering program in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or related degree area.  

  • We require interns to be enrolled in an educational program during the duration of the internship program. 

  • Must have achieved Junior status (2 years completed), with a graduation date no sooner than December of 2027.  

  • Technology background/studies preferred.  

  • Ability to work independently and within a collaborative, team-oriented environment.  

  • Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills 

  • Proficiency with MS software (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint)

  • Competitive Pay – Competitive compensation with an anticipated hourly rate of $22–$28. Actual rates may vary based on factors such as academic standing, business function, and other relevant considerations.
