As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will provide technical leadership and expertise in advanced manufacturing processes. You will play a crucial role in driving innovation and continuous improvement in our manufacturing operations by developing and implementing advanced manufacturing strategies, leading cross-functional teams, and driving the adoption of cutting-edge technologies.

ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and oversee advanced welding processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and productivity.
- Provide technical leadership and expertise in advanced manufacturing processes
- Lead cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing operations and enhance productivity
- Develop and implement weld processes to optimize production and drive continuous improvement.
- Identify and evaluate cutting-edge technologies for adoption in manufacturing processes
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives
- Analyze manufacturing data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in advanced manufacturing
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Extensive experience (6+ years) in welding of aerospace components.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
- Proven experience in advanced manufacturing, welding process optimization, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Strong knowledge of welding technologies such as TIG Welding, Electron beam welding, welding automation, etc.
- Knowledge of industry specifications such as AWS D17.1 and AMS2750.
- Familiar with GD&T concepts and symbols.
- Proficient in Data analytics tools such as Excel
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience managing multiple projects in a dynamic global environment
- Proven track record of continuous improvement and project execution.

- Advanced Engineering degrees like ME (Mechanical Engineering), EE (Electrical Engineering), IE (Industrial Engineer) or Manufacturing Engineer.

The annual base salary range for this position is $125,000 - $208,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
