JOB SUMMARY:
Under limited supervision, provides implementation assistance and ongoing support to all affiliate locations for various financial systems. Also responsible for determining any necessary business process improvements to coordinate with the new financial systems. Acts as a mentor for less experienced professionals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Configuration of timekeeping and payroll systems.
- Monitor data feeds from source systems into payroll and timekeeping as well as monitor outbound data feeds to other systems and third party vendors. Trouble shoot errors with data feeds and resolve
- Maintains documentation on business processes, configurations and other materials.
- Creates more complex end user reports, analyzes the data within and compiles the data in requested formats for management/executive reporting.
- Recommends and supports management with more complex system modifications to meet the changing needs of the department. Tests system modifications/programming changes. Updates internal work processes/jobs aids resulting from systems changes. Trains other associates on systems changes.
- Collaborates with human resources operations and cross functional teams to define business requirements for required or requested changes.
- Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to end users and communicates status to relevant stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related
- 5+ years of related experience
- Experience with payroll and timekeeping systems configuration and integrations, including ADP and Kronos.
- Understanding of elements of payroll and timekeeping systems such as schedules, pay codes, pay rules, calendars etc.
- Understanding of multi-jurisdictional entities (federal, state and local compliance)

- Strong written and verbal communication skills to discuss or transmit primarily factual information to internal and external customers in the normal course of performing duties
- Strong analytical skills to investigate, interpret and reconcile information from several distinct sources in situations where conclusions or resolutions are discernible
- Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Customer service skills to display a service-oriented attitude in addressing and responding to customer issues.
