Responsibilities
- Will work on automation framework design and development for validation on JMA XRAN products.
- Responsible for designing, programming, integrating, testing and bug fixing involved in creating and maintaining automation framework development and automation testing.
- Collaborate with software/hardware R&D QA teams, developers and project managers to understand the requirements and automate the use cases.
- Provide automation test infrastructure to enable QA teams to test and deliver engineering releases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Communication Engineering or equivalent. Masters preferred.
- Strong Knowledge & Hands on experience on automation framework development like Robot automation framework, Pytest, UI frameworks like Selenium, Appium or Playwright.
- 5+ years of Hands on experience on python programming, shell scripting, JavaScript, HTML, JSON, XML, YAML, Rest APIs. Having knowledge on any database like Postgres etc.
- Good understanding of 5G and/or LTE Architecture, high-level understanding of different entities, roles of 5G/4G/2G System and cloud-based RAN system is expected
- Ability to understand and analyses logs for debugging issues, identifying the root cause for the problems seen in framework development and during automation testing
- Hands on experience on UE Simulators, Core simulators used in 4G/5G testing. Knowledge of ADB commands, iperf tool, wireshark etc.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Podman and Openshift Container Platform
- Experience in understanding the testcases and writing automation test scripts, execute and analyse.
- Hands on experience with Linux, Git, any IDE like Visual Studio, Pycharm is a must.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, GIT, Bitbucket, Jira and Confluence
