Valeo Thermal Systems

Skawina’s engine cooling plant is the largest and oldest Valeo site in Poland. The plant designs and manufactures the latest generation of innovative heat exchangers, i.e., engine coolers, oil coolers, air turbocharger coolers, air-conditioning and complete engine cooling systems (cooling modules), which in addition to their basic functions allow to reduce fuel consumption and emissions of harmful substances including carbon dioxide.

Currently for our entity Valeo Power Division - Heat Pump Module in Skawina we recruit an Advanced Development Technical Leader.

Mission:

• Technical management of R&D team developing Heat Pump Modules (Coolant and Refrigerant side) and components like Multiway coolant valves and 

• Provides technical guidance to the managed team

• Prepare with team of multi-criteria decision matrix

• In charge of the robust design in line with the economic targets

• Support of P1 Teams during RFQ steps and during development when collaboration is required

• Analyze customer needs, break down and cascade 

• It ensures that patents are filled before communicating to the customer on technical innovations or innovative usages

• Report  and escalate to Technical Manager as needed

• Capitalizes the know-how (write state of the art synthesis, technical guidance, procedures, …) 

The ideal candidate will have:

• Technical background in mechanics, thermodynamics

• Experience in cooperation with customers

• 4 years’ experience in the automotive/aerospace industry

• Fluency in English

• Very good communication skills
