About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Advanced Computer Vision Algorithm Engineer to join our Algorithms team. In this role, you will design and develop advanced computer vision algorithms, focusing on practical challenges in 3D geometry, camera modeling, and machine learning. You will have the opportunity to drive innovation, mentor junior engineers, and influence the direction of the team’s research and development.
What You Will Do
- Design, implement, and optimize computer vision and machine learning algorithms for real-world applications.
- Develop and evaluate models using TensorFlow and PyTorch, with a focus on scalability and deployment efficiency.
- Apply expertise in 3D geometry, reconstruction, and camera modeling to solve challenging perception problems.
- Combine deep learning and classical computer vision methods to build robust, production-ready solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software, hardware, product) to integrate algorithms into larger systems.
- Stay up to date with the latest research, and translate academic advances into practical solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to shaping best practices in algorithm development.
What You Need to Be Successful
- 5+ years of experience in computer-vision based algorithms development.
- MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
- Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with production-level coding standards.
- Proven hands-on experience with TensorFlow and PyTorch frameworks.
- Deep understanding of 3D geometry, reconstruction, and camera modeling.
- Strong background in machine learning and deep learning methods.
- Solid knowledge of classical computer vision algorithms (e.g., feature detection, tracking).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of delivering results.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
- High level of dedication, ownership, and commitment to excellence.
Bonus Points if You Have
- Experience with C++ for performance-critical implementations.
- Experience in deploying models to embedded or resource-constrained environments.
- Prior experience in the automotive, robotics, or medical imaging industries.
