Role Summary and Impact
This role is within MFG, part of WPP Media, where you will partner with Analytics and cross-disciplinary teams across New York, Chicago, San Francisco, and Los Angeles to measure the effectiveness of marketing and advertising executions and translate data into actionable business insights.
As a Senior Analyst, you will be accountable for quantifying the success of marketing initiatives and delivering insights that enable MFG teams to innovate and improve their work. Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the collection, cleaning, analysis, and evaluation of marketing data, applying measurement methodologies such as A/B testing, Matched Market Tests, and statistical validation.
- Champion real-time data quality assurance, input, and formatting to support the successful implementation of media measurement initiatives.
- Proactively identify and resolve program and project issues, escalating them appropriately when necessary.
- Transform complex data into clear, visually compelling presentations.
- Communicate findings through effective data storytelling, translating advertising campaign results into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Build knowledge across different practices to tailor insights and recommendations to specific business and client needs.
- Stay current on MFG’s product offerings and understand how they influence analytics and measurement.
- Support and occasionally manage conversations with vendors and clients.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Technology, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field, with a 3.0 GPA or equivalent professional experience.
- C1 English proficiency or equivalent, with the ability to communicate effectively in professional environments.
- 1-3 years of professional experience in a marketing analytics-based role, preferably within a media agency.
- Experience or exposure to digital media execution, including Search, Social, and Programmatic channels.
- Understanding of the measurement of both Brand and Direct Response marketing campaigns.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Google Workspace is a plus.
- Experience with core advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, and CM360.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a highly organized and efficient manner.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data and recommendations clearly.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a natural affinity for numbers and data-driven problem-solving.
- Experience with generative AI tools such as Gemini and ChatGPT is a plus.
- Experience with programming languages such as R, SQL, and Python is a plus.
