The Opportunity
InCharge Energy is seeking a highly motivated ADP Administrator to join our Human Resources team at our Richmond, VA location. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and processing employee data within the ADP system, supporting payroll accuracy, and assisting with a variety of HR-related tasks and special projects. You’ll play a key role in supporting our employees and ensuring efficient HR operations in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. What You’ll Do
- Manage and process employee data in ADP, including new hires, terminations, and personal information updates
- Review and verify time and attendance records, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies
- Generate reports for HR and Finance teams (e.g., pay summaries, job titles, tax forms, and YTD earnings)
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and ADP system usage within 2 hours
- Stay current on federal, state, and local payroll regulations to ensure compliance and accurate tax withholdings
- Monitor and follow up with managers to ensure timely timecard approvals
- Train new hires on the ADP system during onboarding
- Conduct regular audits and reconciliations to maintain accurate payroll records
- Support additional HR-related projects and process improvements as needed
Your Experience and Capabilities
- 1–2 years of experience working in ADP systems (Workforce Now preferred) or similar HRIS
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
