The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced administrator to join our Nelson Quarry Team - you will be involved in the daily operations of the Fulton Hogan Quarry, including managing the administration of the weighbridges. You will be responsible for customer service (internal/external) documentation, administration, record keeping, reporting and information management systems.
Your responsibilities include:
• Daily monitoring of weighbridge transactions, trouble shooting and customer service.
- Complete purchase orders for the team and assist the team in getting quotes.
- General administration for the quarry team, production reporting, updating sales data.
- Remote support for customers using the weighbridges.
- Processing of manual weighbridge dockets.
- Assist with the customer care plan and maintaining customer relationships.
- Assist with the Co-ordination of the retail sales delivery truck.
- Assist with the administration of the transport M2X scheduling system.
- General quarry administration tasks.
What you’ll bring to the table
You will be competent in Microsoft Office Suite and have the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with staff and customers. You will also have proven customer service and administrative experience.
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

- Self-starter, can manage workloads and prioritise tasks.
- Experience in administration and computer systems (MS Office).
- Previous experience as an administrator or in the logistics industry is an advantage.
