We're looking for a highly organised and proactive Administrator to join our Hazardous Waste Site team. This is a key support role that helps keep our operation running efficiently by ensuring accurate administration, maintaining compliance records, and delivering excellent customer service.

As Site Administrator, you will:

  • Accurately confirm work undertaken on a daily basis to support revenue generation.
  • Scan and upload site paperwork to the central system each day.
  • Input data accurately to produce hazardous waste returns and maintain site compliance.
  • Answer, direct and manage incoming telephone calls professionally, providing an excellent customer experience.
  • Maintain site filing systems to company standards.
  • Contact customers to confirm vehicle attendance appointments.
  • Produce weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to support operational and compliance requirements.
  • Work closely with Customer Service and Regional Operations teams to resolve queries and ensure information is accurate and up to date.
  • Support the Site Manager with any other reasonable administrative duties as required.

Essential

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
  • Strong administration experience in a busy office environment.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Professional telephone manner with a customer-focused approach.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn, develop and adapt to business needs.

Desirable

  • A Levels (or equivalent).
  • Experience within the hazardous waste or waste management industry.
  • Knowledge of hazardous waste documentation and relevant legislation.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
