The NeedFor over 25 years, IJM has pioneered the work to protect vulnerable people from violence. 9 out of 9 times in the last decade, IJM’s Justice System Strengthening Projects have reduced slavery and violence between 50 and 85% for very large populations of people in poverty. As we grow to expand our impact to protect 500 million people from violence, we are seeking an Administrator, Talent and Development.
The Administrator, Talent and Development plays a critical role in supporting recruiting coordination, candidate experience, onsite interview logistics, and broader Talent Pipeline & Development operational needs. This role provides high-quality administrative and coordination support that helps ensure efficient recruiting processes, smooth stakeholder communication, and strong execution of recurring team operations.
This position is ideal for a proactive and highly organized professional who can manage multiple details simultaneously, maintain strong follow-through, and provide a high level of service to candidates, hiring teams, and internal stakeholders.
This position is based in the Washington, DC area and is available to be hybrid (onsite Tuesdays & Thursdays). It reports to the Talent and Development Manager and is only available for candidates with the right to work in the US.
Responsibilities:Recruitment & Onboarding Support
Coordinate panel interviews, debriefs, and recruiting logistics across time zones.
Manage recruiting calendars and shared inboxes.
Coordinate onboarding logistics and track completion of onboarding activities.
Partner with recruiters, HR, and hiring managers to ensure smooth interview processes.
Events and Logistics
Support the planning and hosting of TPD team events (to include booking rooms or venues, organizing catering, and planning activities).
Support the planning and execution of Orientation, an in-person event hosted three times a year.
This position may require occasional travel to support the coordination and execution of events.
Facilitate all aspects of candidate in-office interviews, including travel arrangements, day-of logistics, and hosting office tours.
Support the Chief People Officer’s Executive Assistant for GPS divisional event logistics as needed.
Administration & Operations
Provide administrative support to the Vice President, Talent Pipeline & Development as needed.
Schedule meetings, training sessions, and cross-functional engagements.
Maintain organized digital records, documentation, and templates.
Support procurement and vendor coordination.
Assist with process documentation, policy updates, and compliance requirements.
Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of sensitive data.
Data, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
Track and analyze training, recruitment, and onboarding metrics.
Develop dashboards, reports, and summaries for leadership review.
Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for process improvement.
Support data-driven decision-making across TPD initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience);
At least one year of experience providing administrative support in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Demonstrated strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs;
Superior ability to manage many tasks simultaneously and proven ability to consistently meet deadlines with excellence;
High attention to detail;

*What is a statement of faith?
A statement of faith should describe your Christian faith and how you see it as relevant to your involvement with IJM.
