Job Description:
Job responsibilities will be working with a Shipping Authorization program, which allows employees who wish to ship non-revenue product. There will be addresses, parts or commodities to add into the database. Assisting requestors on how to use the program.
SA Administrator Responsibilities
Serve as SA Administrator, assisting Requestors with system navigation, issue resolution, and locating parts and equipment within the SA system.
Set up MCHP parts, Demonstration Units and equipment in the SA system, including:
Requesting classification information for items not yet classified by Global Trade Compliance (GTC)
Coordinating cost requests with US Costing for MCHP parts
For non‑MCHP parts and equipment, coordinate with requestors to obtain required compliance data and costing information prior to SA system setup.
Research and resolve missing or unavailable part information when data cannot be found in MCHP systems.
Assign Schedule B classifications to parts and equipment once classification is completed by Global Trade Compliance (GTC)
Maintain and update part and item records in the Shipping Authorization (SA) system as changes are required.
Trade Compliance & Screening Support
Manage End Use Certificate (EUC) requests by issuing forms, reviewing completed documentation, filing supplier EUCs, and forwarding standard and sample EUCs to GTC.
Conduct Restricted Party Screening to support shipment releases for SA and Baan transactions, as well as visitor clearances for the Chandler site
Support GTC as requested by providing information required for item setup, shipment clearance, and compliance-related inquiries.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written skills
2-3 years of experience
High School diploma
Computer skills to work within multiple programs
Knowledge of work, excel, PDF - read/write
