Responsibilities:
- Provides climate for staff in which they can seek feedback, voice concerns or receive information.
- Counsels staff and takes appropriate actions.
- Keeps administration informed of activities and problems.
- Acts as a liaison with medical staff to coordinate patient care.
- Serves as a clinical resource to staff, other hospital areas, students and families.
- Supervises multi-position employees in order to contribute to the overall goals of the hospital.
- Maintains a safe, clean and organized environment for staff and patients.
- Initiates exposure management as directed/indicated by employee/occupational health.
- Updates BARTT system as required by state.
- Completes required calls/documentation of patient deaths
- Maintains interpreter log. Supports interpreter requests.
- Performs all other duties as they relate to this position.
Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education
- Licensed RN in South Carolina, maintain ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, and CPI Certification
- At least 3 years total related work experience
