Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provides leadership to administrative and nursing staff working with the SBU
  • Reports to the Clinic Administrator or Ambulatory Care Director
  • Along with the Clinic Administrator or Ambulatory Care Director is responsible for assuring high quality administrative service to Kelsey-Seybold patients
  • Responsible for implementing standards, policies and procedures formulated and recommended by Kelsey-Seybold Clinic
  • Directly supervises administrative staff in small clinics where the Clinic Administrator has responsibility for more than one SBU
  • In very large clinics (e.g. West and The Main Campus), the Administrative Supervisor may supervise two or more coordinators or large administrative support departments

Required Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 4+ years of medical office experience to include the following: face-to-face customer service, cash handling, patient registration, appt scheduling, medical billing, charge entry/capture, experience & knowledge of managed care. 1+ years of medical office supervisory experience Or 4+ yrs of KSC Medical Office experience in a Coordinator or Leadership capacity
  • Proven basic PC Literacy. Alpha/Numeric Forms Entry
  • Proven excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven basic Math ability 10 Key touch
  • Proven ability to speak, understand and write English

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of the following; medical insurance/managed care, cash handling, cash close out, and direct face-to-face customer service experience
  • Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Bilingual- English / Spanish

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $60,200 - $107,400 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.

Skills Required
