Description of Work

All previous applicants DO NOT have to reapply to be considered. ***This role provides key administrative support to the Marketing Division’s International Marketing, Agribusiness, and Farmers Markets & Ag Centers programs. We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary point of contact, answering and routing calls
• Prioritize daily tasks to keep office operations running smoothly
• Identify and resolve issues with sound judgment
• Clearly communicate policies and procedures to staff and external partners
This position reports to the Assistant Director for International Marketing and supports the Assistant Directors for Agribusiness Development and Farmers Markets & Ag Centers.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences
Recruitment Range: $39,244 - $46,000
Knowledge of MS office programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Skills in organizing workflow and coordinating activities.
Ability to communicate professionally in both oral and written form.
Ability to understand issues, identify problems, and opportunities to determine the appropriate course of action.
Ability to demonstrate an effective working relationship with coworkers and the public.
