Your next career opportunity  
You will play a pivotal role coordinating operations, finance and research support within a renowned language testing centre. You will collaborate closely with academic leaders, industry partners and professional colleagues to enable successful projects and grants. You will enjoy a flexible part-time role that builds deep expertise in university research administration. 

What you will deliver:  

  • Provide expert advice on policies, budgets, contracts and compliance, ensuring centre activities meet University requirements. 

  • Manage LTRC finances, including monitoring transactions, reconciliations, invoicing and regular reporting to Centre Directors. 

  • Coordinate procurement, contractor engagement and grant and contract submissions, liaising with legal and external partners. 

  • Support researchers with competitive grant applications, budget acquittals, progress reporting and research output data management. 

  • Oversee event administration, advisory board support, website updates and continuous improvement of centre operations. 

  • Maintain databases and website content with accuracy, and use systems to track grants, publications and contracts. 

  • Support grant applications, contracts and variations, working confidently with institutional compliance and reporting requirements. 

 

You may be a great fit if you:  

  • Hold a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent combination of training and specialist administrative expertise. 

  • Demonstrate strong budgeting skills, including coordinating budgets, monitoring expenditure and preparing accurate financial reports. 

  • Bring experience preparing research and financial reports against performance targets within complex, multi-project environments. 

  • Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including senior academics, researchers and industry partners, in a collegial manner.
