Responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and executive-level support to the Vice President for Student Affairs. This position manages the daily operations of the Office of the Vice President, serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituents, coordinates divisional communications, prepares executive reports and presentations, and ensures the efficient operation of the Student Affairs Administrative Office. Office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; however, evenings, weekends, and additional hours may be required.

Qualifications

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with advanced business writing proficiency.

· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams).

· Advanced presentation design skills using Microsoft PowerPoint, Canva, Adobe Express, or comparable software.

· Minimum typing speed of 65 words per minute with a high degree of accuracy.

· Ability to coordinate executive schedules, meetings, and special events.

· Experience preparing executive reports, briefing materials, and board-level presentations.

· Proficiency in database management, electronic filing systems, and document management platforms.

· Ability to quickly learn institutional software systems.

· Ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations while maintaining professionalism and discretion.

· Able to sit, stand, bend, kneel, walk, stoop, crouch, reach, twist, push, and pull for an extended time.


MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

· Associate's degree with three (3) years of executive administrative experience, or

· Bachelor's degree with two (2) years of progressively responsible administrative support experience.

· Experience supporting senior executives, cabinet-level leadership, or vice presidents is strongly preferred.

· Higher education administrative experience is preferred.

· Demonstrated experience utilizing Artificial Intelligence technologies within professional administrative environments is preferred.
