Compensation Range: $28.42 to $33.44/hourly, based on experience.

Job Objective:
Provide administrative support and clerical duties to the Territorial Kroc Director of Operations.
Essential Functions:
This job description is not all-inclusive. It is intended to identify the essential duties of the position. Other duties, responsibilities and tasks may be assigned.
- Provide administrative support including word processing, preparation of spreadsheets, data management, and report preparation. Also responsible for maintaining department mailbox as well as department head mailbox and other administrative duties.
- Coordinate travel and meeting schedules, including hotel reservations, as requested.
- Provide administrative support for transcription of meeting notes, drafting correspondence and project management
- Work independently and consistently manage the flow of work at THQ while the officer and employee staff regularly travels in the territory.
- Follow through on developing concepts as given outline, including research, development, written material, collaborative efforts.
- Ensure that Kroc and other strategic resources are appropriately disseminated. Compile and distribute consolidated monthly statistical analysis for Kroc Centers.
- Work to complete specific strategic planning projects to advance mission, and assist in keeping projects timely.
- Discuss, develop and implement larger scale projects including but not limited to conference planning and program/performance evaluation methods.
- Represent the TKDO as assigned (e.g. in coordinating activities at THQ, in attending some functions, in requesting assistance on their behalf).
Minimum Qualifications:
Education & Certification:
High School Diploma or equivalent required Associates Degree preferred
Experience:
Minimum of three years’ experience providing administrative support to a department, including the department head
Must have experience working with department personnel that travel regularly. Experience within The Salvation Army preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Access, Lotus Notes and e-mail.
- Ability to speak, write and understand English in a manner sufficient for effective communication with leadership and field personnel.
- Demonstrated success at project completion.
- Ability to take an outline of a desired outcome and successfully develop the outcome.
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to bring resources together for project completion.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality

Travel:
Travel beyond the THQ work site is not normally expected, although there may be occasion to accompany the team to another meeting site
Physical Requirements:
Physical requirements include: Good speaking, hearing and vision ability, and excellent manual dexterity in order to operate laptop computer. Ability to web-based meeting formats including video-conferencing. Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time
Working Conditions:
Work would be performed in a typical corporate office environment.
