Uta Halee Academy (UHA) is a female-specific, residential program that offers young women opportunities to build productive and meaningful futures for themselves and their communities. Pay: $18 - $20/hour

What you will do: The Administrative Assistant's main duties include managing phone calls, preparing expense reports, submitting billing, overseeing daily concessions, handling petty cash, ordering and restocking supplies, assisting with new student enrollments and virtual appointments, monitoring student visits with state workers, and meeting various weekly and monthly deadlines. Additionally, the role ensures all administrative procedures align with Rite of Passage's professional standards. There is frequent interaction with at-risk youth in this role.
This role operates in a fast-paced environment that requires adaptability, as workflow and priorities can change rapidly. Candidates should be comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously and working under pressure. The position demands proactive problem-solving, strong time-management skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines without sacrificing quality. Resilience and the capacity to handle a high level of activity are essential.
To be considered you should: 1-2 years of experience working in clerical or administrative work ~ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent ~ Be at least 21 years of age ~ Experience working in a fast-paced enviornment ~ Experience working with at risk youth ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.
Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8 am - 5 pm or a modified schedule within regular business hours (shared on-call rotation; one weekend a month) ]
