Administrative Assistant- Barc Housing
Pay Rate: $18/hour
Shift: Monday-Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm

Arc Broward is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Administrative Assistant to provide essential administrative support to Barc Housing, our Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) for individuals with developmental disabilities.
As an Administrative Assistant, you’ll help provide the necessary support and services to BARC Housing staff and residents.

What does an Administrative Assistant do?
- Order and maintain inventory of office supplies.
- Type minutes of meetings, maintain log of minutes for all standing committees, interdisciplinary team meetings and other conferences as necessary.
- Update staff schedules, substitute rosters and emergency telephone lists.
- Schedule substitutes for open shifts when necessary.
- Calculate and transmit bi-weekly employee payroll.
- Maintain residents’ Cash on Hand Funds - have residents’ allowance and personal money available as per all applicable SOPs.
- To distribute mail/memos to communication logs, staff mail folders, bulletin boards, as required.
- Provide administrative support Administrator/QIDP
- To mail documents for signatures as needed.
- To ensure client financial and central records are up to date, complete filing, and purge when necessary and in accordance with document storage policies.
What are the requirements?
- High School Diploma required.
- Must successfully complete required screening: Level II background check, physical and drug screen.
- 1-3 years of experience required.
- Computer skills including typing and data entry.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Must be team-oriented, organized, and possess great communication skills.
