We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Engineering Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the electronic management of our engineering files and for compiling evaluation packages from existing engineering data. The ideal candidate will excel at handling a large volume of work independently while maintaining excellent accuracy and organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document Management:
- Transfer and store engineering files electronically.
- Documentation & Data Submission:
- Compile and prepare customer evaluation packages using existing engineering data.
- Database & Server Maintenance:
- Maintain and update electronic databases for design documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Support scheduled server backup activities to ensure data integrity.
- Inventory Management:
- Manage and catalog inventory records for parts, ensuring that all records are current and accurately maintained.
- Additional Tasks:
- Perform any other related duties as assigned to support the engineering team.
Qualifications:
- Organizational Skills:
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage a high volume of work with minimal oversight.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Communication:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred Experience:
- Prior experience in aviation, aerospace, or an engineering environment is highly preferred.
