Job Description:
This position is responsible for performing clerical and receptionist duties for the FabShop. The role also involves hands-on fabrication and finishing of materials, including learning and applying standard procedures for lamination and all processed products meet the predetermined quality standards and specifications. This is done by inspecting all finished products that are being produced. This position also provides timely feedback to the proper departments when there are quality concerns. Additional duties include interpreting blueprints, cross-training on various equipment, completing detailed documentation, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assisting management with scheduling shipments and deliveries, and monitoring inventory levels.
Interacting with customers via phone, email, and in-person to provide support.
Preparing reports, and performing general clerical duties, including extensive use of Excel.
Coordinate daily shipping activities, including preparing Bills of Lading (BOLs), generating pick sheets, and communicating routes to drivers.
Compile daily data for the department's scorecard, manage the Month-End Shipping (MES) list, and update shipping details in Oracle.
Audit shipping and sales numbers, and order necessary shipping supplies.
Serve as a point of contact for drivers, communicate with various internal departments, and send required updates to Finance.
Provide backup for the Shipping/Receiving Supervisor, assist other teams as needed, and maintain all safety certifications.
Professionally manage all incoming calls, transferring them to the correct individuals and taking detailed messages to ensure timely communication.
Greet and assist all guests entering the FabShop in a friendly and professional manner.
Perform general clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, and ordering office supplies.
Maintain a daily log of all incoming calls and keep the reception area clean and organized.
Conduct comprehensive quality control testing on finished products using established procedures and test methods.
Perform final inspections of finished products prior to shipment to customers and/or distribution centers.
Maintain meticulous documentation for all quality tests and inspections, ensuring accuracy and traceability.
Conduct regular quality audits to verify adherence to standard operating procedures.
Effectively blend seams, ensuring a high-quality finished product.
Interpret blueprints and sketches to set up and operate lamination equipment.
Responsible for its daily inspection and safe operation.
Perform thorough quality checks on all finished pieces.
Complete required documentation with detail and accuracy and maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
Cross-train on multiple types of equipment
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor or Management
Qualifications and Skills:
Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills, a high level of professionalism, and excellent customer service abilities.
Proficient in using standard office equipment, with a working knowledge of phone systems. Experience with word processing, data entry, and scheduling.
Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with a sense of urgency.
The ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Proficiency with basic mathematics.
Ability to speak and read English sufficiently to converse with the general public, read and understand highway signs/signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports/records
Ability to work with cleaning products
Minimum Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Experience: 2+ years of office experience and previous experience in the stone or carpentry industry is preferred.
Systems: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace is preferred

Work in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions
Walk up and down steps multiple times throughout shift
Bend over multiple times throughout shift

Cambria’s starting hourly range for this position is $17.15 - $22.66. Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job-related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
