Overview & Responsibilities

This position requires a competent individual with a wide range of administrative skills. This individual would be expected to handle secretarial, administrative, and other miscellaneous duties as required with speed, accuracy and skill.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Answering phones, the front door, greeting and directing customers.

  • Enter timecards and payroll for the facility.

  • Maintains departmental files and has material available as needed for reference or follow-up. 

  • Compiles and prepares diversified regular and special reports.

  • Orders departmental supplies.

  • Makes arrangements for equipment repairs as needed.

  • Runs errands as assigned (outside as well as inside plant).

  • Maintains and updates records of long-term storage for customer parts

  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

 

 

Requirements

  • High school diploma.

  • Previous office experience would be beneficial as position involves being comfortable in a fast-paced work environment requiring good organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to prioritize duties, work independently, and attention to detail.

  • Have good listening and comprehension skills.

  • Computer skills are a must with emphasis on the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to learn and/or perform tasks in Oracle, Vantage, and other operating systems as needed.

  • Administrative Assistant should have the ability to deal with others in a mature, professional manner, make decisions on a daily basis and must be resourceful.
