The Opportunity

We are looking for organised, pro-active and professional Administrative Assistants to join multiple practice groups in our Melbourne office.


In this role you will provide essential administrative support to a high performing team of lawyers and be mentored by Legal Assistants in the group. You will enjoy variety in your day-to-day, build relationships with a broad range of internal stakeholders and benefit from learning and development opportunities to progress your career.


This role is full-time, Monday – Friday and 100% office based.


Please note, we cannot consider students, including law students, for this role.


What you’ll do

  • Provide proactive administrative support, balancing competing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Assist the team with matter management, time recording and monthly billing.
  • Pitch in with business development tasks and assist with organising client and team events.
  • Manage day-to-day office operations, including expense processing, travel and meeting coordination, and mail management.
  • Manage printing tasks, filing and archiving, as well as general document support.

What you’ll bring:

  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
  • Previous experience in an administration role, or as a supervisor in retail or hospitality.
  • A committed and reliable work ethic, demonstrating enthusiasm and proactivity in the workplace.
  • A friendly and professional approach, exhibited in your written and verbal communication style. 
  • Strong attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and organised whilst managing competing priorities.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • An innovative mindset, curious about AI and emerging technologies.
