Perform a range of administrative and childcare duties for the early learning center. Maintain front desk reception tasks including attendance tracking, data input, billing, student files, parent communication and occasional classroom supervision.
QualificationsEducational/Certification:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Spanish Speaking preferred
- Two years of clerical experience
Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher, Outlook).
- Ability to operate a variety of office and school equipment, including, calculators, fax machines, postage machines, etc.
- Knowledge of Pro-Care (or similar) software to post billings, record payments and generate reports.
- Ability to interact with clients and staff with sensitivity and responsiveness to cultural and socioeconomic characteristics of the of the service population.
- Strong oral and written communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational skills.
Other Requirements: Must have a driving record which is within the guidelines of the insurance underwriter. Must not have been charged with or convicted of a criminal offense that would disable the employment by failing to meet minimum standards as set by the Licensing Branch of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.
