Your role at Clorox:

Great technology organizations depend on exceptional operational support behind the scenes. As our Administrative Assistant, you'll play a critical role in helping senior technology leaders stay focused on strategic priorities while ensuring teams, meetings, events, and office operations run smoothly and efficiently.
This is more than a traditional administrative position. You'll be a trusted advisor, relationship builder, problem solver, and organizer who brings structure to complexity. From coordinating global meetings and executive travel to planning large-scale events and supporting a collaborative office environment, you'll have the opportunity to influence how work gets done across a growing, high-performing technology organization.

In this role, you will:

  • Responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the Vice President and Chief Technology Officer and Enterprise Architect.
  • Manage calendars and coordinate full-cycle meeting logistics (scheduling, materials, follow-ups).
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel, including itineraries and visa processing.
  • Manage expense reports in a timely manner and reconcile P-card activity using Concur.
  • Interact with internal and external customers, responding timely and appropriately to meeting and/or information requests.
  • Coordinate end-to-end meeting logistics, including scheduling, agendas, materials, conference collaboration setup (virtual/hybrid), and follow-up action items.
  • Provide general administrative and meeting logistics support for the larger Durham office EDT team including meeting meals (placing orders, receiving deliveries, food set up and clean up).
  • Assist the VP team members to determine and prioritize business strategies based on their schedule.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations and spreadsheets using software applications (e.g. Excel, Power Point, etc.).
  • Handle details of highly confidential and critical nature with discretion.
  • Serve as information source, workspace coordinator and fulfill reasonable requests for EDT teammates globally.
  • Plan and execute major events that are hosted by EDT or require large meeting coordination, either as the lead or part of the execution team.
  • Handle conference room set-up including teleconference meeting set-up for virtual and hybrid team members for; coordinating with Enterprise Data & Tech (EDT) team
  • Coordinate functional town halls and large meeting formats across global locations and time zones including calendar invitations, conference rooms reservations, and support events.
  • Coordination with onsite facilities receptionist and American Tobacco Campus (ATC) representatives. 
  • Work closely with and assist the Executive Admin to the Chief Information and Data Officer
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as needed. 

What we look for:

  • 3 plus years of administrative assistant experience supporting executives.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and Word, beginner to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and Power Point skills
  • Experience with Concur software for travel arrangements and expense reports submission (Concur is HIGHLY PREFERRED)
  • Advanced experience with Outlook email and calendaring program
  • Experience in understanding complex business problems and articulating challenges, proposing solutions and working cross-functionally to achieve goals.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with positive, can-do attitude
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information
  • Ability to handle complex assignments using considerable judgment and initiative
  • Results and detail orientation

Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.


–Zone A: $28.32 - $49.28

–Zone B: $25.96 - $45.14

–Zone C: $23.61 - $41.06
