Job Summary:
The Administrative Assistant in Nisku, Alberta is responsible for administrative, clerical, and secretarial support to the group’s Division Manager and Supervisors.
ResponsibilitiesEssential Job Responsibilities:
- Supports & coordinates with internal and external resources (operations, service, accounting, project management) and brings significant problems encountered to the manager’s attention.
- Responsible to follow all applicable company and corporate policies, guiding principles, procedures and programs; including but not limited to the process map, support processes, health, safety and environmental requirements.
- Verify and enter information into the database.
- Filing duties.
- Generate and create reports as requested.
- Telephone and personal greetings, direction and assistance.
- Provide assistance to the group with Sales Orders and Purchase Orders as needed.
- Review and evaluate service reports for completion.
- Enter information from reports into database.
- Complete documents and submit for invoicing.
- Assist in scanning and photocopying.
- Word processing and administrative support.
- Office management responsibilities including office supply orders.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualification Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- One-year certificate from college or technical school preferred
- Minimum three-year experience and/or training
- Computer skills – proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Good communication skills
- Ability to organize, create and maintain effective workflow
- Outgoing and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
HSE Requirements:
- Bending, twisting, and work indoors
- HSE Orientation, Hazard Identification
- Quality Management System Training
