PRIMARY FUNCTION: Provides administrative and clerical support to the Production department by coordinating office activities, maintaining records, supporting inventory and purchasing functions, assisting with production scheduling, and ensuring compliance with departmental procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
- Manage and prioritize information flow, including phone calls, emails, and mail.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
- Manage calendars, meetings, travel, and departmental events.
- Maintain department files and records.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents.
- Collect, compile, and maintain departmental information and reports.
- Coordinate departmental purchasing and inventory activities to ensure the timely availability of materials, supplies, and resources.
- Monitor office, hatchery, broiler, breeder, and pullet supply inventories.
- Create, receive, and maintain inventory records.
- Administer the ISN contractor management system and ensure compliance with established protocols.
- Verify visitor compliance with company biosecurity requirements.
- Perform additional relevant duties as assigned

EDUCATION and CERTIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- Minimum two (2) years of administrative support experience.
- Experience tracking, receiving, and maintaining inventory records.
- Preferred experience with an Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system.
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.

- Follow and ensure others follow departmental and company safety policies and programs
- Wear required protective equipment in all areas where mandatory
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Frequently sit for long periods of time utilizing office equipment and/or computers.
- Long periods of time requiring intense concentration in an open area office space
- Occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.
