Provide general administrative support to the branch and Office Manager, manage membership database with GDPR compliance, handle enquiries, assist with group insurance administration, distribute materials to recruits and staff, maintain the branch website, perform reception, hospitality and minute-taking duties, and deputise for the Office Manager as required.

Reporting to the Office Manager you will be required to deal directly with work-based representatives, external enquiries and undertake all aspects of the administration function for the smooth running of the branch.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in the smooth running of day-to-day business
- Manage the membership via the database, proactively and in accordance with members notifications and subscriptions for ‘new, amend and end’, ensuring GDPR compliance.
- Assist with the administration of the Group Insurance scheme for serving officers, retired officers and police staff.
- Distribute information to all new recruits, transferees, and police staff. Review and follow up for returns.
- Answering both email & telephone enquiries.
- Providing administrative assistance to the full-time Board Principal Officers, including taking minutes at meetings as directed by the Office Manager when required and where practical.
- Update and maintain the Branch website at the direction of the Office Manager
- Housekeeping, hospitality, and reception duties in conjunction with the Office Manager.
- In the Office Manager’s absence, deputising for the Office Manager when required
- Any other relevant duties as directed by the Office Manager and/ or Branch Secretary
