Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain highest level of confidentiality, customer service and professionalism to promote a positive image of the Company
Receptionist duties - greeting visitors, phone coverage, and general office housekeeping
Receive, sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail
Assist team members with entering incoming and outgoing invoices into Navision Dynamics and receiving purchase orders
Ensure invoices and plant receipts are properly coded for job costing purposes
Enter maintenance job journals to maintain accurate tracking of equipment and parts inventory
Assist in providing documentation during accounting audits
Record driver’s route tickets
Maintain electronic and hard copy records and office filing, as needed
Stocking and inventory of supplies, as needed
Provide administrative and accounting support to managers and corporate staff, as needed
NLC WP 2023:
Maintain highest level of confidentiality, customer service and professionalism to promote a positive image of the Company
Answer and redirect all incoming calls to the correct department in a polite and professional manner
Welcome visitors, organize incoming/outgoing mail, complete general housekeeping, and order, stock, & receive supplies
Provide administrative and accounting support to managers and corporate staff
Perform bookkeeping such as entering purchase orders and sales invoices in the accounting system
Send daily invoices to suppliers
Line up and schedule freight on finished products
Monitor inventory levels by conducting weekly, monthly, and yearly physical counts and reconciling with data storage systems
Maintain and organize electronic records and office filings, as needed
Assist as backup in other areas, as needed
Situations may arise that require employees to temporarily or permanently assume responsibility for tasks not specifically outlined in this job description. Employees may be requested to work additional hours and/or accommodate a heavier than normal work load.
QualificationsQualifications
Associate degree in Business or related field, preferred; or comparable education and/or experience
Previous office experience, preferred
Ability to work 40 hours per week; overtime as needed
High level of proficiency, accuracy, discretion and confidentiality
Proficient written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office -- Word, Excel, and Outlook
NLC WP 2023:
Associate degree in Business or related field, preferred; or comparable education and/or experience
Shipping, accounting or other clerical experience, preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
High level of proficiency, accuracy, discretion and confidentiality
Proficient written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office -- Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to learn and be proficient in an ERP system – preferably Microsoft Dynamics
Skills Required

What We Do
Farmers Union Industries, LLC is an agricultural-based manufacturing company that processes by-products from farmers into usable items. It is owned by farmers and has operations in rendering, meat processing, and pet food production.
