Answers phone promptly, courteously, and professionally, screens and transfers calls to appropriate personnel, and relays messages to staff as needed. Ensures timely processing, tracking, and logging of Plans of Treatment, Face to Face documents, Physicians orders, and other documentation requiring signatures. Monitors incoming faxes and distributes them to appropriate personnel, and faxes documents to physicians and other providers for field staff as requested. Calls laboratory to request patient lab reports for field staff as requested. Maintains a tidy and organized work environment. Remove Participates in Performance Improvement activities as appropriate to departmental needs. Completes related tasks as assigned by Department Manager or Department Director. Manages timekeeping for department to include submitting bonus and travel expenses. Performs other duties as assigned. Runs various reports to monitor outstanding Plans of Treatment and orders daily, ensuring all items are followed up on, obtained back signed, checked in, and scanned to EMR promptly. Processes all discharge and transfer summaries daily. Provides medical records upon request to MD office or sends chart requests to CIOX for processing. Should CIOX be removed? Demonstrates computer skills and knowledge and maintenance of office equipment. This does not belong in Job Duties. Maintains and orders medical and office supplies monthly and as needed, rotating stock to prevent waste.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:• Demonstrates ability to communicate by reading, writing and typing legibly, speaking and comprehending English effectively in order to carry out job requirements [Required]
