We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant – Sourcing to support our procurement operations in Gibson City, IL. If you’re passionate about organization, vendor coordination, and driving efficiency, this is your opportunity to thrive in a dynamic and purpose-driven environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Support all aspects of the sourcing process, including writing requisitions and creating outline agreements.
- Communicate with vendors to obtain quotes, confirm pricing, manage lead times, and coordinate returns.
- Maintain and monitor open purchase orders to ensure timely fulfillment and resolution of issues.
- Collaborate with corporate buyers and internal stakeholders to align on sourcing needs and priorities.
- Perform general administrative tasks to support the sourcing and procurement teams.
- Previous experience in sourcing, purchasing, or procurement support.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective vendor relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a plus.
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- High School Diploma or GED
