At Atterbury Job Corps, our Administrative Assistants are the glue that keeps the Social Development Department running smoothly — handling everything from correspondence to special projects with accuracy and professionalism.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Provide administrative and technical support to the Social Development Department, assisting with special projects and other departments as needed
  • Conduct research, prepare statistical reports, handle information requests, and perform clerical functions including mail distribution, correspondence, scheduling, and travel arrangements
  • Ensure timely submission, logging, and tracking of Center contract deliverables, requests, reports, and correspondence
  • Draft, write, and proofread internal and external communications with the Corporate Office, Department of Labor, and outside organizations
  • Maintain Job Corps/Company systems and libraries (e.g., CIS, OA, CTS, CSSR, SMR, ABRA, MAS200, FMS, eRequester, School Dude, PRH, and related directives/SOPs)
  • Prepare, coordinate, and distribute the Center's weekly newsletter and meeting minutes
  • Ensure the department area is organized, clean, safe, and conducive to student and staff success

WHAT YOU BRING

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Degree or certification from an accredited or relevant certified training program or school (preferred)
  • Minimum of three years of secretarial or administrative support experience (required)
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (required)

High School diploma or equivalent required. Degree or certification from an accredited or relevant certified training program or school preferred. A minimum of three years secretarial or administrative support experience is required.  Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of applications is required.
