Job Purpose:
- The Administrative Assistant at Benedict College is responsible for providing high-level administrative support to ensure efficient operation within the office. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and organize schedules, appointments, and meetings for department heads and other staff members.
- Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents.

- Handle incoming calls, emails, and other communications, directing them to appropriate parties or taking messages as necessary.

- Provide administrative support to various departments as needed, ensuring smooth operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall objectives of Benedict College.

Qualifications

Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.

Required Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative support role.
- Proven experience in managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.
- Experience in handling confidential information with discretion.

Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
