Provide clerical and office support to the General Manager and regional offices: greet visitors, answer calls, manage voicemail and phone lists, coordinate new-hire paperwork and benefits, maintain supplies and inventory, handle mail, prepare expense reports, schedule appointments, coordinate office maintenance, and support ad-hoc projects.

Modivcare is looking for an Administrative Assistant to partner with the General Manager on clerical and technical support for the office. In this position, you will also offer a variety of office and administrative support for operational and regional offices.

You will...

  • Greet visitors

  • Answer the operator line and direct calls to the appropriate place

  • Manage and distribute speed dial information for the phone/fax lines

  • Coordinate voice mail set up

  • Compile (in cooperation with Transportation) and distribute transportation provider list

  • Ensure all call recordings are backed up and archived

  • Coordinate new hire information and employee benefits documentation for the HR contact person in the operation center

  • Coordinate office maintenance and cleaning (to include windows & carpets)by working with the landlord, cleaning service(s) and other services the operation may require, e.g., water dispenser, shredding service, plumber, electrician, security service

  • Handle inbound/outbound mail including information packets and/or contracts for potential transportation providers

  • Prepare expense reports

  • Handle ordering office supplies

  • Maintain supplies and inventory

  • Schedule appointments

  • Handle virtual correspondence

  • May participate in additional projects or duties as assigned.

Salary: $18 - $20/hr

The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job. 

Primarily seated work; extensive computer and telephone use; occasional standing, walking, reaching, bending, and lifting up to 10 lbs.
