Job Summary

As an Administrative Assistant II, you will perform complex administrative duties and project coordination duties under general supervision. This position supports the Automotive Services Field Manager by providing lead support performing tasks in an efficient and expedient manner ensuring the department operates efficiently. This position is onsite located at the AAA Branch Office in Escondido, CA.  

What you will do:

  • Perform a wide variety of advanced secretarial and administrative duties which may be of a confidential or technical nature. 

  • Support management by collecting and maintaining data for reports and for budget reconciliation. 

  • Maintain and report on all attendance records and maintain all personnel files. 

  • Create various forms, charts and reports for unit management. 

  • Coordinate ongoing or ad-hoc projects as assigned. May facilitate communication between office staff, field representatives, vendors, or members/customers to accomplish objectives.

  • Schedule appointments/reserve facilities, receive visitors, as well as answer
    phone inquiries and other correspondence.

  • Duties may include member service functions such as reception, call handling, escalated calls, etc.

What you bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent plus 3-5 years administrative experience.

  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Advanced typing ability required. 

  • Exceptional organization, planning and time management skills. 

  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization. 

  • General leadership skills. 

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer skills.

The starting pay range for this position is:

$23.28 - $31.01

Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
