Responsible for supporting the administrative assistant team in assigned region.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Serves as receptionist for Wealth Advisory services in Lafayette
- Prepares transactions on Trust system for client accounts.
- Updates paper and electronic files with updated client information.
- Picks up, delivers, and processes inter-office and U.S. Mail.
- Closes client accounts.
- Assists the Trust Team with the following:
- Handles recurring client bills for payment
- Updates paper and electronic files with updated beneficiary designation forms
- Assists the Estate Team and Trust Team with similar functions on an as needed basis
- Prepares account opening paperwork
- Updates and prepares investment policy statements
- Prepares and processes IRA distributions
- Prepares and processes Discretionary Distributions
- Maintains Excel spreadsheets
- Assists with client and prospect events, meetings, and phone calls
- Prepares accountings for court approved accounts
- Orders and maintains supplies
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential requirement of the position.
- Responsible for the completion of all compliance training related to the position.
- Must understand all applicable laws and regulations that apply to the position and comply with the requirements.
- One (1) or more years of related experience preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills required and ability to work independently.
- Prior data entry or clerical experience preferred.
- Pleasant and professional telephone skills.
- Prior general office experience helpful; including experience in operating scanner and copier.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable, detailed oriented and a team player.
EDUCATION
High School Degree or GED required; 1 - 3 years’ college preferred.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Minimal or occasional travel for meetings, projects or training as needed.
