Urban Engineers is seeking a qualified individual in Hartford, CT to join the Administration Department as a part-time Administrative Assistant. This position will provide office support for:
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the office and direct to appropriate locations.
- Maintain office supplies and coordinate with vendors to maintain office equipment.
- Handle incoming and outgoing office mail and packages.
- Arrange and assist in preparation for conference calls, team meetings, video conferences and other types of project and department meetings.
- Support administrative needs, including travel and meeting planning
- Assist Project Coordinator and Practice Leaders with administrative and project tasks. Ie: Support the production of presentations, resume updates, Deltek Vantagepoint input
- Draft, format, edit and disseminate memos, correspondence, meeting minutes, and other documents.
- Assist in the preparation, proofreading, formatting, editing and submittal of proposal documents and project deliverables.
- Assist with screening resumes for potential hires
Requirements:
- Associate in Business Administration, Accounting, Communication, Marketing or similar.
- At least two years of experience providing administrative support and / or project delivery support.
- Experience in Engineering, Architectural, Construction or similar professional services firm a plus.
- Strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite - primarily Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Bluebeam.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, time management, and organization skills.

Skills Required
