Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems, is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant 4 to join our executive admin team and support our growing portfolio. The position will be part of a broader admin group that supports multiple Program Office leaders.

Responsibilities:
The Administrative Assistant will support a program executive and program execution utilizing decision making skills, professional judgment, and tactful implementation. They will be expected to apply organizational skills to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and situations across the program, as well as work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate closely with other administrative professionals in related organizations
- Maintain in-person presence to support ad-hoc requests from team members
- Demonstrate dependability, accuracy, efficiency, and punctuality
- Manage calendar, travel, and expenses for our executive and leadership team
- Manage conference room calendars, phone lists and reserved parking assignments
- Manage purchasing for program supplies, and handle catering during select operations events and lunchtime meetings
- Help coordinate/prepare briefing packages
The right candidate should possess a positive can-do attitude, be self-directed, and be comfortable working in a fast paced, changing, and diverse environment.
General office management tasks:
Gather, compile, and report on information relevant to supervisors’ assignment.
Answer questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures.
Sometimes backfill for the administrative assistant to multiple Directors including managing calendars, coordinating travel, and creating expense reports
Be asked to work overtime from time to time
The position requires a positive team player who is flexible in attitude and dedication, with the experience and ability to effectively interface with all levels of Northrop Grumman leadership, support organizations, and customers.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent with at least 6 years of experience as an administrative assistant, preferably for a large team or leadership position
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Experience in business and travel expense system (Concur, Edge, or similar)
- Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance, and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Administrative support at the Executive level
- Good communication skills
- Positive team player
- Active DoD Secret clearance (or higher)
- Current Special Program Access (PAR)
