The Role
ALS Laboratories are looking for an Administration Assistant to support their Customer Service department at ALS Coventry. As an Administration Assistant you will be required to pre-register samples for customers, arrange collections and deliveries and fulfil customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction. Ideally you will have worked in fast paced, highly regulated environment that requires a meticulous attention to detail and a solution-oriented approach.

The Day to Day
Scanning and filing of documents
Inputting and maintaining data utilizing Excel
Booking sample collections and bottle deliveries
Respond to inquiries and deliver appropriate information or refers to appropriate function or people
Review and report anomalies to customers
Answering calls
Provide support functions for Customer Services
Aiding with the reporting of results
Raising credit notes and manual invoices for Customer Services
Ad hoc duties as required to ensure that the business directives are met
The Essentials
Contributes to the establishment of best practices for customer support
Flexible approach to work supporting and backfilling other team members when appropriate
Office administrative experience ideally within a commercial organisation
Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills
Effective communication skills both written & verbally
Experience with working with various IT systems including MS Office
