The Role
ALS Laboratories are looking for an Administration Assistant to support their Customer Service department at ALS Coventry.  As an Administration Assistant you will be required to pre-register samples for customers, arrange collections and deliveries and fulfil customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction. Ideally you will have worked in fast paced, highly regulated environment that requires a meticulous attention to detail and a solution-oriented approach.

Monday to Friday
Basis: Full Time and Permanent
Annual Salary: £25,879

The Day to Day

  • Scanning and filing of documents

  • Inputting and maintaining data utilizing Excel

  • Booking sample collections and bottle deliveries

  • Respond to inquiries and deliver appropriate information or refers to appropriate function or people

  • Review and report anomalies to customers

  • Answering calls

  • Provide support functions for Customer Services

  • Aiding with the reporting of results

  • Raising credit notes and manual invoices for Customer Services

  • Ad hoc duties as required to ensure that the business directives are met

  • Contributes to the establishment of best practices for customer support

  • Flexible approach to work supporting and backfilling other team members when appropriate

  • Office administrative experience ideally within a commercial organisation

  • Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills

  • Effective communication skills both written & verbally

  • Experience with working with various IT systems including MS Office
